Oh my gosh~ finding time, peace and quiet and brain power to blog don't all come together too often around here. I was certainly hoping that I would be able to blog more than what I have been. I want to shout from the rooftop that we are 'officially' parents to our little man now. Tuesday afternoon we went to court and finalized Caleb's adoption!!! He has been in our custody since June 2010 when he was just six weeks old. Now we are approaching his second birthday and he is finally a Wetmore:)) ADOPTION ROCKS!!!! From the time that I was a little girl I just knew in my heart that adoption would someday be part of my future. Four years ago I did a Google search for 'Treacher-Collins, adoption' and some information came up so I clicked on it. Right then and there my world was completely ROCKED. I will post a picture from court just as soon as I am able to find my camera;-) I used to be so organized---6 kids ago!

Spring Break

Finally a quiet minute to think!! The kids are on Spring Break this week. There have not been very many quiet minutes around our house as you can imagine. The weather is absolutely glorious and the kids have been spending a lot of time outside. But, that doesn't mean that someone is not running in to tattle or inform me that so and so got 'super hurt' out there. This year did not hold many special plans for Spring Break for us. On Monday we met up with some friends for ice skating.

Other than that, we were all ready for a little down time. The mornings of rushing around are on pause for a week, and I am loving it! The only things on the calender this week are therapy and soccer! That makes for a happy mama! My sister-in-law even asked if she could take 'some' of the kids for the weekend! How much more could I ask for? Well, I guess a little sand between my toes wouldn't be so bad:)) I was explaining to my mom the other day that I feel like we have finally found 'normal' again. We have had so many major life changes within the past few years that it really took time to get back in a groove. Our family grew from two kids to six kids within 14 months. Life has been CRAZY to say the least.

Yeah! We are back up and running:))

YES-- I will still be posting about Juliana! But, I will also be posting about adoption and other obsessions that I have:))
